Planning Content Series 📆 Yes, but…. with StrATEgy ! ðŸ«
Authentically building your brand by recalibrating your approach with strategy on social media 🔀
Should you be planning your social media content? Using a scheduling platform?? Have months of social content ready at all times??? Use ads???? 🤯 All these questions can drive you a little crazy…. especially without strategy, planning, and consistency. Without those things scheduling platforms, banked content and paid ads won’t matter, or make much of a difference. So, what does planning content actually look like? 👇
How many times have you heard someone say you should be days, weeks, months, etc ahead on your social media content? That can seem impossible when social media is changing drastically all the time–but hope isn’t lost. The secret? 🤫 Have a content calendar, use a scheduling program, and have months of content ready IF that’s part of your strategy. If it’s not, then don’t change everything with the hopes every problem will be solved–especially if you’re seeing engagement and consistently positive analytics. There are 1001 ways to do everything and that includes building and engaging a community on social media.

Without strategy, planning and consistency using scheduling platforms and banked content won’t matter (or make much of a difference) because you’ll still feel like you’re giving it your all and in return getting very little… but how do you properly sort these things out so that your brand gives authenticity? You might already have the pieces in place and simply need to recalibrate.

Without strategy you’re held back from properly planning and therefore your content and effort are being, or nearly, wasted. Recalibrating with strategy can look like:
auditing your current posting situation:
amount
times
content
engagement
reviewing analytics focusing on:
which posts perform best
what times you should meet everyone on socials
what content is flopping
content you’re associated with
asking people what they want to see more (or less) of on your page
Adding Strategy: review your social media information carefully and identify what really isn’t working. Start by eliminating what isn’t working so that you can focus on what is.
