Positioning and Repositioning Content 🔀
You’ve worked hard for your content–use it as many times as you can. 🔀
Content categories can be helpful not only for categorizing content, but also staying focused and repositioning content that has yet to be or is already used.
Using these 4 categories can help extend thinking and break content out of the box to become multiple posts:
💡 problem solving
😤 market agitation
🔀 collaboration
💰 sales
A post could be 💡 problem solving but also 🔀 collaboration. Tweaking small things like your audio, location, caption and more details that accompany your video or image(s) makes repositioning content into these categories easier, in turn making reusing content easier. It can also help you focus on what message you really want to get across when posting.
If you have a video that explains how to do something, you will identify why you want to share that particular action with people (your objective), once you are able to identify that you can see which categories or category the content falls within.
Applying 1/4 categories to position content details, or applying to already posted content, makes repositioning again, and again, easier than ever. This results in genuine reasoning behind content reuse outside of efficiency, so that your customers get the best, and you don’t stress.
After choosing a category you will write the caption and all the content around that post based on the objective, category and content. When/if you choose to reuse the content, you’ll jump categories and spin the information to fit a new category–therefore accessing repetitive trust in followers.
Don’t worry about being repetitive–your content is in a sea of hundreds of thousands of other pieces of content. Even if the content does show up more than once on their feed, providing a different angle in the caption provides followers with new information, and possibly reminds them of previous captions or information, they’ve seen with this content from your brand.
Reusing content can be a strong strategy when applied correctly. Categorize, label and reposition your content and never stress about not having content again.
