It might shock you to learn that after the hype died down–Threads stayed active, and it’s actually really fun! 🤩
Threads has become a place where the girlies, gays, allies, and theys get together to talk about pop music, books, current events and more. I’m not sure how Meta managed to invent an app that seems to be ad-free (please stay that way!!) and actually shows people on your feed you want to interact with–but I hope they never change it. 🥰
Why is it different from X (fka Twitter)? 🤔 Threads emphasizes:
🏘️ Community-focused and ad-free (and we hope it stays that way)
🤝 Engage in deeper and more meaningful conversations, find your Thriends (X, fka Twitter, often prioritizes trending topics and quick updates)
🌈 Unique features designed to foster closer connections among users–such as during Pride month when a #pride thread would show up as rainbow across the text rather than the normal black and blue text (they also had a confetti feature which just made liking everything so fun)
💬 Curated to highlight content from people you are more likely to interact with based on their content and interests
